Smile please !

Smile and world will smile with you

Last week when I was coming back from my class to have lunch I saw a rickshaw puller carrying vegetables trying  to pass from a narrow passage of hostel entrance. As his rickshaw was full of vegetables he was literally dragging his cart in order to elevate it on the slope of the passage but I think he was beat by the heat.

As I was close to his cart I lunge from behind and he was there on the proper road and he said thank you and we both pass smile to each other. There is nothing heroic or peculiar in this but for me his smile made my day because the way he smiles it's all genuine and he really meant that "thank you".

I realised I got a big smile from him for pushing his rickshaw, Though that was not a  huge task but you feel happy when get someone's response. The point I want to make is that a random act of kindness or I should say simple mannerism and humanism can rejuvenate you.

What it costs ?

Nothing ! yes nothing it hardly utilize your resources  as you don't have to please anybody, if you are in a state where you can help someone than please do otherwise nobody is punishing you or forcing you to invest your time on some stranger. It's more on your will rather than any object. Things like giving a seat to the needy in bus or standing between a vulgar creep who is staring a girl so that he can't see her properly or strongly standing on your foots during metro hustle so that old lady don't feel any discomfort by the movement of crowd. These things may sound clumsy but they all are executable and perhaps anyone and any time can do.

May be this will not help you in your job or in reducing your work but surely this will generate positive vibe in you that is now a days important aspect to survive.

Come let's change the world

A small is step is a foundation for giant leap
That's why we must change ourself, our approach towards others. If we can become a bit more sensitive than we ourself will start feeling the change. There can be a numerous arguments commenting on the impact of this attitude towards society but always remember we together make society and yes its .  . . . Just a random thought  Smile Please !

See the world with a smile, live the life with smile
dump the inner guile , play swiftly on pike
collect the kindness hive never regret by
dive in a sea of divine while utile
Makes other smile when they got piled
Smile even when you collide but do carry a smile

Verdict! That Convicts But Don’t Permit

Salman gets 5 years jail probably this news headline no one was expecting even if you are a supporter of bhai  or not. On the judgement day the whole country shocked with the verdict  “5 years rigorous imprisonment”, Some were aghast because their favourite human being who himself believe on a being human act was convicted and for some people it was bit surprising as people lost all hope to see culprit behind the bars.

This verdict remind us that we live in a democratic country where law is equal for all. But just after this verdict there is a twist in the tale. We forget that it is just a verdict and Dabangg khan don’t need to go jail because we have judiciary system with some loopholes that meant only for the special people by the special lawyer.

13 years wait just for bail ?

This famous hit-and-run case crippled for 13 years which saw lots of date extension(taarik par taarik) but when it comes to bail out the matter of bail it was done within hours and just after two days sentence was suspended. This can be the reason for joy for his millions of fan but many questions remain unanswered.

But in this chaos we must not forget an unsung hero of this case Ravindra Patil who was eventually killed by this system. This verdict convicts Salman khan but ironically same law don’t permit him to go jail.

Presstitute- A new society in India

Presstitue a term which was recently coined by Gen(retd) V K Singh make huge wave on social media. Operation Rahat which evacuates nearly 4000 Indians successfully was praised by international media but the Indian media not covered the whole event very enthusiastically in fact people came to know about the detail version through social media and government briefing.

Now recently the coverage of Nepal earthquake by Indian media made the citizens of Nepal furious.Even when India has supported and help Nepal in every possible way but people of Nepal trends ‘#Indianmediagohome’ and ‘#Indianmediadontcomeback’ perhaps because of the approach of their coverage in such a sensitive issue not like by the locals.

Those days were gone when anything that come on tv was acceptable. In today’s scenario we cannot underestimate the viewer’s choice of content. As News channel most of the time contradict themselves. First they will take an interview then edit it then sensualise it and make full one hour program which will be sponsored by corporate goons this is how they create controversies.

Media is said to be the fourth pillar of democracy. The role of media is to create awareness among the people and hold government accountable for the policies but in recent times the image of media has been dented by the media itself including top journalists, media houses which is ran and control by powerful corporates. Now everyone understands the race of TRPs how these whole media lobby is desperate to showcase the bulletin.

People in this techno world become fast and smart hence any news, article or twisted fact can be verified very easily and we must not forget that people only appreciate those things which are beneficial for them and they are the best judge for it. Therefore media houses should understand the same and not try to implant bogus and false framed news.

A lesson from listener

In the recent times media has to face a serious bantering.People are sick to listen “India wants to know” even if they really want to know the matter. During world cup when a news channel wants to trend #shameinsydney on India’s loss in semi-finals the social media trends #shameontimesnow and that too remain in trending list for more than 3 days. News anchors are got trolled, their pic used as a meme and even their name have suffixes like feku, chor and biased

Recently #switchtoDD was trending as people are interesting in watching the old DD national as it still have the old essecnce of news without much loudness and marketing and it always known for it’s genuine and authenticity. Hope news channel will focus only on news and not on promoting any political agenda and transfrom it’s image from presstitue to press institute.

Ban Bang !

Make way for India's Daughter

In the recent series of ban we also have an episode of the documentary on Nirbhaya. Nirbhaya gang rape was probably the most disgusted, shameful and unfortunate act of human. Everyone knows what happened at that night and there will be hardly anyone who doesn't about the fact like date, city, time and vehicle used. This is perhaps because we all were aghast and appalled by that incident. We all had pain and anger together.

So why everyone should see this documentary ?

Here I am not promoting this documentary but it is worth watching for all of us mainly because of the two reason.

Firstly this documentary is for all those orthodox people who are still surrounded by male chauvinism or having this kind of a persona. One can say why we should listen to the rapist ? He is rapist and obviously his thoughts will be filthy and full of crap only but I think this is why everyone should listen to him so that if anyone having similar thoughts and feelings for the women then he should understand that his thinks like a rapist.

In the documentary only we got one defence lawyer who is supporting his client quite shamelessly and having no problem in portraying the women as an object.

Secondly we came to know about the Nirbhaya. The life of Nirbhaya was very inspiring, she was the girl with strong will power. Nirbhaya's dream to become a doctor,to have good life, to support her parents and to have a hospital in her village. Her dreams were dreams of a every normal student who want to achieve something in life.

It was very difficult for her parents to afford her medical fees but somehow they managed it and their daughter's dream was about to complete but such a painful and tragic end of this story leaves you in a pain as if it was  not only her dream that was broken but also your dream dented somewhere.

The Mirror Image

There is always a two sides of a coin and this tale too has it's own flip version which led to it's banning. Although this documentary is well made and requires a lot of research but the way it presented is questionable. This documentary is  made by BBC and no one can deny the fact that BBC has commercialise it's release. It's release date, the way it organises a premier in U.S as if it is some Hollywood movie and authenticity of a content as their are charges that BBC give money to the main convicted and the way it takes the interview in jail.

Beside this BBC also tarnish India's image at the global level. Every country has problem but you got no right to blame the whole country, place or community for any mis-happening conducted by the Individual. It is like Aajtak or Times Now is making the documentary on racism in U.S. My point is not every Indian is rapist. It is very difficult and took a long time to make an impression but it takes very few moment to break it.BBC itself hide the news of child abuse case against his senior most news anchor. If you are playing game then rules should be same for all.

Recently one student does not approved for internship programme in German University due to India's image. After documentary the tourism will also get affected directly causing effect on our economy. If this documentary was made for Indians and by the Indians perhaps it will be more productive.

But in this chaos we must not forget the fearless and bravest

       India's Daughter Nirbhaya

Holi the hues of togetherness
